The Dutch lesson
Two countries took the drugs test. Who passed?
In Holland, there is no war on drugs. They believe this is a social problem, not a criminal one. And all the evidence suggests that their policy works
nope
The problem is that it would be serious competition for other industries. This was the real reason it was outlawed in the 30’s. It would put the paper industry out of business.
Guess you’ve never had the police at your door because you chose to buy something they didn’t like.
throwing people in jail for making personal choices concerning their own body is wrong.
Marijuana should be legalized for many reasons. For example, you always hear about people drinking Alcohol, going home, and beating their wives and kids. How often do you hear that happening with marijuana, that right, never!
shit on him.who cares anyway
this guy makes a lot of sense…how many violent criminals are still on the street while if you have a little weed you go to jail, thats wrong
that just goes to show you how “good” of a “politician” he is
Goddamn that Obama! I was fooled by his charm and had high hopes for him, but ever since that bastard got elected he’s backed down on almost every promise he’s made. Turns out he’s no different from every other asshole politician; just another soulless liar, another painted-face in the politics circus. Goes to show that neither leftist douches nor right-wing turds are gonna change anything in our country, it’s all just a grand charade.
you are absolutely right. youd think we would have a surplus if they taxed it though, enough americans smoke it.
Government can’t back down on the war on drugs. They have too much invested in it. How many jobs would be lost with all those empty courtrooms and all those empty cells? Think of all the companies serving those prisons and jails that would go out of business. That doesn’t begin to cover things, but gets you started thinking, it would be hard to get re-elected and reap rewards from ending the war on Ameican youth.
Thank you Norm and Democracy Now for this video, I’m going to part two now…
WOW! his people are suffering the most from this! and it wont help? what about courts, incarciration, prosecution, cartels.
Legalize, and you have a safe billion dollar, hemp indusrty, and a safe alternative for recreational uses. People die from the laws against it, not from its use (see mexicos drug war) and this bastard laughs it off. FUCK YOU OBAMA. FUCK YOU!!
found like a few crums of some blue berry yum yum, just kicked back and now i’m watching Amy whom i love
Legalize it. Take the pie from the cartels.
L E G A L I Z E all of nature-people N O W.
You mother-fucking inbred pieces of corrupt rat shit politicians can’t stop me!
You can suck my right nut, than the left, and put a cherry on top and suck my dick!
Legalize it! Smoke weed everyday!
Take your seeds from your stash and plant weed everywhere!
I have never felt so betrayed ! Obama got my vote with his talks about cannabis during the campaign for President. I feel like he said what the people wanted to hear, just to get him in office. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth! Mr. President Hemp can save the world & economy. Politians reply they r afraid that it would hamper law enforcement effort to control drugs. Let law enforcement worry about there own problems. Our leaders better worry about the voice of their constiuents.
“Prohibition… goes beyond the bound of reason in that it attempts to control a man’s appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded”
