Does marijuana always make your brain slower?
I’ve always been a straight A student and during high school I smoked multiple times every day. Now, I’m in college and I do very well in school, never slack on my chores/responsibilities, and manage to keep a part-time job. So is it really true that marijuana makes you dumb? I mean, I understand that it kills brain cells, but how much damage does it really do?
Let me make myself clear: I AM NOT CONDONING DRUG USE OR TRYING TO ADVOCATE LEGALIZATION. So please don’t leave any comments like “Drugs are bad!” or “You’re an idiot for smoking.” I’m just curious about whether or not every person is the same when it comes to marijuana use.
my friend says it doesn’t affect him
you have it all wrong. it only kills that part of the brain cells which promore aggression and violence. Hence pot smokers are always at peace. compare this with alcohol whic promotes aggression and violent behavior.
not when im looking for food.marijuana make’s me real fast 2 find food!!!!!
yes i does and idk
There has been research on the negative and positive effects of marijuana on the human body and the brain. Marijuana is frequently beneficial to the treatment of AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, even metal issues and chronic pain and beginning to be medically “legalized” in many states for these uses. Heavy smokers in general and longtime users in particular are more likely to experience ongoing problems than occasional smokers and nonsmokers. But everyone is different and you might be a light smoker to ease the stress of studies and still ‘functional’.
It does kill brain cells, but you have millions and millions of them. Long term smokers are far more likely to notice the changes, because more brain cells will be history by then. It all depends on how long it took you to quite.
