Ha! It won’t pass. If they won’t legalize gay marriage, what makes you think they’re going to legalize weed? If they did, we’ve have a lot of people pissed off that they’d let weed be legal when gay couples still can’t marry.
It’s a waste of time. State laws cannot be usurped by federal law. Unlike gay marriage, which is regulated right now by states (Supreme Court will soon change that), Marijuana is prohibited by federal law. No state legislation, whether passed by the Legislature or by the voters, can change a federal law.
Only if the government can think of a way to tax it, then it will pass.
I hope so.. I’ve been waiting for this vote for sometime. It doesn’t effect me cause I live in New Jersey. But once if it is passed and Cali gets out of debt from it being taxed then the other states should follow.Pot will bring America out of debt. Pot is nothing compare to liquor!
