As long as they leave the weed smoking libs alone they don’t care
Yes. But if it’s anything like California’s, the Feds make it almost impossible for them to operate.
@Iris. I have a very dear friend that just passed away from cancer this month. While he was going through chemo he tried to get a medical marijuana card in California where he is a resident. He lives in the Coachella Valley and the dispenceries in almost every town has been forced tp close down. Those towns that have been granted a licence have not been able to open due to govt red tape. Then there is the problem of finding a doctor to grant a card to the person, reputable doctors won’t do it for fear of losing their licence, This is the experience my friend had since last November, when Obama was in office, so je has not made it easier.
I truly hope they do. I have personal experience with this issue as my husband died of cancer and marijuana was the ONLY thing that helped him eat and feel better after chemo. And that was over 20 years ago..
Yes. My neighboring state Oregon is a lovely place with wise leadership. If you’ve ever watched a loved one battle cancer or suffer needlessly with other pain, you will want this bill passed in every state. We passed it in Washington.
@Moose – The Feds made it very tough to operate under Bush. They aren’t under Obama.
@Peek a Boo! – I am so sorry for your loss. I, too, lost my husband to cancer many years ago, and mj was also the only thing that helped him.

hopefully.
Unfortunately the law doesn’t go far enough, as deeply in debt as this state is the drug should be legalized and taxed at double the rate of tobacco not just charge licensing fees. Although the initiative just barely (by about 3000 signatures) got on the ballot, I predict it will pass.
