Do you think Californians will legalize Marijuana in their state in November ?
If so, what effects will it have on society ? The bible teaches us in Revelation 21:8 that no sorcerer’s will make it into the kingdom of heaven. The word sorcerer in the Greek text is ‘Pharmacia’, which is similar to the english word pharmacy (it is addressing people who use drugs). Also, many claim that marijuana is “natural”, yet this is a fable. Breeders chemically alter plants into “hybrids” in order to increase THC levels. Weed smokers routinely get passed over for higher paying promotions and are suckers to any con on the street. What is your argument for or against legalization ?
I don’t think it will be decriminalized in November.
I was addicted to it. It made me depressed, anxious, paranoid, lacking in confidence and occasionally I got chest and throat infections. Stopping was the very best thing I ever did.
Ok, so you’re probably not going to choose my answer but here it goes: I think marijuana should be legalized. First of all, not everyone believes in the Bible, so that argument is irrelevant. Also, it doesn’t matter if marijuana is natural or synthetic, because you should be allowed to put whatever you want into your own body. Legalization would help prevent children from using it and it would take away profits from drug cartels.
i don’t think religion should be interfering with marijuana laws, and if you are so religious, surly you can agree that god didn’t make marijuana for it to be illegal, it has so many medical benefits, we should use these. it should be legal, not just as medicine, but for all.
yes people make it so that it is stronger by cross breading different strains, but it is still natural. and if people do this it makes it safer, because people will have to inhale less smoke to get the same high, and its not like they will accidentally get to high, because marijuana kicks in very quickly, unlike alcohol….
i have the right to put in my body what i want, why dose the government think i can’t make this dissension?
as for the effects it would it have. California is the USAs biggest pot smoking state, so most of the people there are responsible for violets in Mexico, because most of there weed comes from there, but if its legalized, they will get it locally, and drug cartels will be crippled, just Californian legalizing weed will bring down the violets in Mexico.
there will be less non violent people in jail….
kids can buy off of any dealer now, if its legal in California, they will need to be 21 to buy it because store owners can not sell weed to kids, just like how they can’t sell alcohol to kids.
marijuana is healthier than alcohol and is not addicting, i know this, because i use it, it is not addicting, there are lots of people out there who drink and smoke weed, but they only drink because it is cheaper than marijuana, if marijuana is legalized, prices will go down and so less people will destroy them self’s drinking, and will instead smoke pot. studies also show that marijuana helps get people off of other drugs which are a lot more harmful, these include not only heroin, but also alcohol…
gangs trade marijuana for other drugs, cocaine and heroin, but also guns and other weapons. if marijuana is legalized, gangs will not be able to make money or trade the products,. and so there will be less violents and less guns…
Legalization would bring much needed tax revenues and save millions of dollars in law enforcement efforts that are currently only arresting non violent users, plus, when you arrest someone who isn’t harmful and put them in jail, they come out of jail changed, and will then be harmful, this means if you legalize weed, there will be less criminals being created.
if marijuana is legalized it is separated from harder drugs, and so users will be less likely to get into other drugs, meaning that legalizing marijuana will actually destroy any gateway effects marijuana has.
Overnight you will find that unsafe, spiked marijuana will disappear.
The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the Prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this
Albert Einstein said that. you may need to read it over a couple of times to understand it. but what it means, is that if the government creates a law it can not enforce, crime will actually go up, and not down and that not creating such laws will prevent crime…. marijuana prohibition is a law that can not be enforced, marijuana is illegal, yet widely available in every high school across the country, this means that it is a law which can not be enforced, and so abolishing this law will bring down crime significantly.
