Marijuana does a great job at treating depression, but running out, especially if you’ve been consuming allot, can trigger a manic episode. I suppose, if it is medical marijuana, it is less likely that a patient will have to deal with running out on a regular basis.
Personally I believe that it can help but with any drug legal or not its up to the consumption involved and what the mental disorder is.
