Come this November do you think the people of California will vote to legalize the sale of Marijuana?
In November there will be an initiative on the ballot to legalize the growing, and sale of Marijuana in California.
How do you think that initiative will do?

They will be forced to or be swallowed up in debt.
I believe it would be wise for other states to take heed when they see the success it brings California.
I hope they do.
yes but Awnold will veto it.
we can already but it legal you need a 200.00 canabis card it is the feds that are giving us trouble.
Yes I think they will pass it. They are ready for real change.
Does it really matter I mean it’s not like pot is hard to find in this country.
They need to…
If they are high…they will see how bad their economy is …
If they are high…they will see that they have no jobs…
How is that Progressive government working out for you California folks, anyway?
They seem to be running out of choices and it would save a bundle and create a hole new agriculture industry there.
NO! we have enough crazies running around the state. We don,t need to legalize it.
Probably not. The people of California have shown to be a lot less liberal than we previously thought. Its asking to legalize another drug or vice. We can’t control the impact of alcohol and tobacco, why should we take on supporting stoners while they “do their own thing”.
Well all the polling that has been done in regards to the initiative show that the state of California is strongly in favor of it.
Chances are very good that Marijuana laws will be changing drastically in California.
I am pretty sure they will. Michigan already passed an initiative to allow for the use of medical marijuana and it’s a pretty conservative state outside of the two biggest cities Detroit and Grand Rapids, so California should have no problem.
I hope so!
Don’t worry, Be happy!
thanks
Otherwise I don’t give a rat’s patootie.
thanks again
Nobody will oppose that harder than those already raking in tons of cash because it is illegal.
I have no idea how well it would do. You would think that it would have legal about 40 years ago out of just common sense but since that hasn’t happened nothing would surprise me.
If the initiative passes – I will move out of the state. No way am I going to raise my kids in a state where everybody is stoned.
Give me a market if it passes, would grow some in my yard and ship to Cali.
Mike – they are already stoned, you must be unable to tell the differrence. It is largely harmless, much more harmless than alcohol.
Yes due to the fact over 60% of their economy is already based on legal and illegal production and sale of marijuana. They have essentially already legalized it in ‘common law’ however not in actual law. I don’t know if you actually live in the state or have been there but it’s so common. Anywhere you go really. There have been reports on the news, huge documentaries, studies and politicians talking about how most of the state’s money exists solely because of marijuana. It’s not that they are in debt now… every state is in debt. It’s the fact is marijuana didn’t exist they would of gone bankrupt ages ago.
Personally I would like to see marijuana as the new recreational substance as it has basically NO adverse health effects. OF course it ‘hurts’ your lungs but doesn’t decrease your lung capacity like cigarettes. It also doesn’t destroy your vocal cords so you sound like some creepy raspy person. Not saying it makes you a super-human or improves your health.
I mean if you are worried about people running around stoned in your state. What about the people who are drunk? How can you differentiate between the two? You trust drunk people more than stoned people? Why? The argument is pretty flawed against it as there isn’t really one based on fact. Marijuana doesn’t improve your driving. It’s not like because it becomes legal you can smoke it and drive. Or smoke it and be in public near private residences or schools. You can’t even do that with alcohol. So irrational fears of just weed being around every corner aren’t correct.
Plus to say more people would become dependent and use marijuana than alcohol isn’t incorrect. The clinically studied addiction rates are many times higher in alcohol than marijuana. Marijuana being illegal never stopped anybody from using it. There are reports that claim marijuana is the most commonly used illicit substance. So with a lower addiction rate, the fact most people use it anyway and that it has less adverse health effects than legal substances. Why would anybody actually be afraid of it other than irrational bias they have from a personal grudge they are to stubborn to let go of? Honestly to think just because you can do something. To assume EVERYBODY will do it? That’s horrible judgment. Really really bad. To just ASSUME you know everything. Sighs… that’s the main reason it is illegal honestly.
