Colorado marijuana law question?
I am moving to Colorado next year because my husband has a job there. I have to finish school to become a Medical lab Tech. My question is- Do they drug test in Colorado for THC? I would smoke pot a little bit on the weekends, of course I wouldn’t go to work under the influence. Would I get in trouble or lose my job?

All signs point to yes.
Depends on the company’s policies, approx 3/4 of all companies drug test. Banks, gov’t agencies, and health-related occupations test a lot more for obvious reasons. The only way you can get around it is if you had a legal-marijauna license and/or a script for it. In that case, the Medical Examiner, upon receipt of a positive result would then contact you and ask if you a prescription for it and if you do, he’ll ask you to send proof, if it all checks out, then he has to, by law, suppress that information from the employer. That doesn’t exist here where I’m at in Florida, so I’d take advantage of that loophole if I were you.
