I heard that in california you can legally go to one of these licensed Medicinal Marijuana shops and get a permit to grow marijuana in your house. You can then legally smoke the marijuana and selling a large portion of your harvest to the Medicinal marijuana shop. Anyone else know anything bout this?

you can by state law, but if the feds catch you they will arrest you
i watched a episode of 60 minutes about it. you can basically go to a doctor out there and say “my heels hurt from wearing high heels to much, can you prescribe me some ‘medical marijuana’ ?”. and they give you a card. and you can go to the ‘medical marijuana’ shops and purchase any marijuana of your choice. im going to have to take a few trip out there sometime soon =P
The first answer is correct. The state of California has made medical marijuana legal, but the Federal Government made raids on their licensed shops recently. Look forward to the Supreme Court to wind up dealing with this one, after the appeals process goes through the Ninth Circuit court, which will hold the Federal Government acted violation of state rights (though it didn’t, due to Federal Laws regarding the possession and use of marijuana).

I heard a man that they interviewed on the news a few months ago that was raising his on product cause he needed it and with doctor script he was selling it to ones that had the script.. And then later on I heard that he was killed..

You must be a patient to grow medical marijuana. The amount you grow has to coenside with the amount you consume. To grow for more than just yourself you must be a designated caregiver.
