Its fear of brown people that keeps it illegal. Vote to legalize in your state!
Yes, I can believe it
I agree, it’s crazy.
It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be legalized any time soon either, but who knows.
Crazy isn’t it but then it is just as crazy to want to become a living zombie in 2010
And can you believe that we haven’t been to the moon in 38 years? And that the US is the only country to send anyone to the moon?
And can you believe that we still drive cars running off internal combustion engines? And that the cars are still driving on the road instead of flying like in “The Jetsons”?
Just because it’s 2010 doesn’t mean anything. there are a lot of things that was “suppose” to happen by now but haven’t.
Well, while studies show that it does impair thinking ability, I admit that there isn’t a good reason to keep it illegal as plenty of other things do that (ehem alcohol cough cough).
FACTS about the bogus war on drugs:
“More deaths are caused each year by TOBACCO use than by all deaths from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), illegal drug use, alcohol use, motor vehicle injuries, suicides, and murders COMBINED.”

Here is a very well thought-out essay on the irrational views of supporters of the War on Drugs.
The author deals with the most common, and extremely flawed, arguments in favor of Drug Prohibition.

LMAO…AGREEEEDDD!!! :p
Almost as ridiculous as cars still running on gasoline so that we have to drill off coasts and massively destroy oceanic ecosystems.
If all the pot smokers out there would actually DO something to get the laws changed— like if they would join NORML, and write intelligent letters to their congress people— marijuana would become legal. But the fact is that most pot smokers really don’t care much if it’s illegal or not. They might whine and complain if they get arrested, but for the most part, they are content to break the law rather than do something to change the law. Until this situation changes, marijuana will remain illegal because the straight-edge soccer moms who really DON’T want their kids to start smoking pot are the ones who actually cast votes.
