Awareness did and does nothing. Awareness against driving drunk sure hasn’t stopped drunk driving. Awareness against smoking hasn’t stopped or decreased the sale of tobacco (neither have warning labels on cigarette boxes). The way to solve the current problems that are marijuana related is to legalize it. They spend unnecessary amounts of money for this useless, ineffective and absolutely pointless war on drugs. Legalize it, collect tax dollars on it, quality control it and it’ll eliminate a huge chunk of criminal activity that’s marijuana related.
There are no problems with the law. It is illegal to use pot period. It should be illegal it is clearly spelled out.
Do I believe in medicinal use…absolutely. But I alos like the thought of someone selling pot to minors going to jail for a very long time and losing all citizenship priviledges.
Only by lifting the prohibition on Marijuana / cannabis / hemp.
