Can marijuana intake be controlled and measured like alcohol?
When I’m drinking alcohol I know how much alcohol is in a drink, and I know how the number of drinks I have affects me. I know the alcohol leaves my body from one drink after an hour. But can marijuana intake be measured at all? How do you know when the effects wear off?
While the legal gap decreases with every state victory, there remains a prevalent misconception that marijuana is a... Read More »

No, you have to smoke as much as possible and get as high as possible at all times.
Unlike alcohol, the high you get from marijuana has what’s called a ‘ceiling’. In other words, you can keep drinking alcohol and keep getting more and more drunk until you get alcohol poisoning. With weed it’s different. You can smoke all the weed you want and you’ll only get so ‘high’.
This is because your body only has the capability of processing so much THC (the active chemical in marijuana) at one time. Once your cannabinoid in your brain are saturated, you’re as high as you’re going to get.
Test it out and you’ll see that I’m right. Plus, it will be a lot of fun!
P.S.: You know when the effects have worn off because you won’t feel high anymore, duh!
no, you can’t measure it.. it will stay on your system for about 6 months.. i hope this helps
i think the duration may vary from time to time, depending on how quickly you smoked or what kind it was.
but it is easier to ‘measure’ or tell how much you are intaking because when smoking it it affects you seconds after, instead of 20 minutes after like alcohol.
You just know.
It usually takes about (if youre not EATING, of course) an hour to two hours
It really depends on the strain and how good the marijuana is.
You can check some books, like the Big Book of Buds, to find out the per cent of THC in the individual strain you might have. However, many non-regulated salesmen may not have accurate information as to their strain(s).
Once you know how much THC (the active chemical in cannabis) your product contains, you can then figure out how much consumption thereof you need to get ‘high’. Unlike alcohol, and other more dangerous drugs, marijuana will not be out of your system in a matter of hours. Even though you ‘high’ might wear off.
So, unless you have a LOT of time on your hands, and are really good at math, you can not really measure your intake of THC accurately.
its possible to measure the amount of thc. good weed is 20% thc per gram hash is from 40%-70% and hash oil 70%-95%the effects of thc usually wear off with in an hour or 2
