Can you get your car back? Was it impounded or seized?
If it was impounded you can get it back by paying the impound and storage fees once the case against you has been through the courts and a decision has been reached. Until then your car is evidence.
If it was seized you probably forfeited ownership of the car as “property used in a criminal enterprise” or “property used in the commission of a felony”. It could also have been seized as assets gained through a criminal enterprise. If it was seized … you are in the market for a car … you don’t get it back! If it was financed you still owe the bank that held the note! Crime don’t pay!
