You see they cut off the caller talking about marijuana and neurons (goverment)
We do not live in a Democracy, if we did it would be legal already.
It’s a weed, yeah. A weed, goddamnit! Grow plants, respect them, use them. Don’t criminilise them.
“society as a whole is tremendously harmed by illegal drug use” prohibition is the problem here. it creates the violence and revenue to the gangs and thugs. what harm does smokin a j do to soicety? hutchinson, you and your cause is backed by years of propaganda and lies. stop believing everything you hear america, think for yourself. legalize it, regulate it, tax it.
fuck you hutchinson, the DEA will never support the legalization of marijuana. lying bitch. if theres a huge increase in marijuana use, its obvious people think your policy is a joke and that your propaganda is bullshit. your ‘reefer madness’ lies will end when prop 19 is pssed. 10:04 this propostion will regulate marijuana the same as tobacco and cigs. undoubtedly, there will be the same warning labels and all that.
whats the harm from mj?
Integrity in our criminal justice system? Whatever you need to keep telling yourself that Mr. Hutchinson.
haha i like how as soon as the guy from california starts telling the truth the call is lost
Asa Hutchinson says, “Well that’s the wonderful thing about our democracy, if the American people decide that’s the direction to go then the DEA would support that…” Oh really? Even though 9 former DEA heads (including Mr. Hutchinson) wrote a letter to Eric Holder, asking the Justice Department to intervene and challenge Prop 19 if it passes? What a liar!
lol “esse’ i live on the border” sounds very dumb and mexican…
Corn and tobacco that guy is awesome and the hutchison guy well I agree with belia he is a ass clown write to your congress california is the first step now they gave us a push lets finish this as a country LEGALIZE!!!!
ahaha Hutchinson is Mr.Statistics yet he cites no actual facts.
@ruxpindrums Bravo! No one smokes a joint then beats their kids
Is it any worse than alcohol? Look at the facts. Alcohol is one of the leading causes of death. How many people have died from Marijuana? This seems to be a no brainer ,but unfortunately the leaders of this country have very little logic in their inept little minds.
He’s in the private sector, another government stooge who when into lobbying…figures
this DEA guy can’t even talk straight, christ. He’s probably drunk, the fucking hypocrite. Are we going to let idiots like this write the laws???
Emergency calls???? Treatment statistics???? Are we talking about weed or heroin?
lol at 7:50. put him in his place.
The DEA does not want to loose any of their budget, so of course they are against legalization.
Mr Hutchinson, you are a BAFFOON if you think Cannabis is a dangerous substance.
I LOVE C-SPAN
lol integrity and DEA in the same breath? i didnt know this guy was a comedian.
Just stop being ignorant. Most of the people that say weed is bad, are people that have never smoked it. Marijuana only destroys your life if you let it or you’re simply you possess it. It has been used for medicine longer than America has even been around. Of course good things can be equally bad, but that why people that use it should use it responsibly. The gov’t shouldn’t tell a person how they can or can’t use nature. If it grows, then the gov’t can take that up with Mother Nature herself
@12:00 guy calls in to support the DEA, and ends up making the case FOR legalization. People come over here with nothing, they end up making tons of money smuggling. Legalization would address two problems at once- the bloody wars for money, and border control. If there’s no money in smuggling, people won’t come over here to become smugglers.
@7:00- “enforcement will decline” that’s not what St. Pierre is talking about, we aren’t going to see less law enforcement, instead, they will be going after bigger criminals, violent offenders, and people that are scarier than a guy smoking weed. This is why I hate the DEA, they never seem to address the real questions, and remain smug in the face of evidence that they failed.
