never saw it, only can relate the story my uncle told me those many years back.
I have had another person tell in Colorado a farmer had near the same story so assume
it happened, as one field could not supply all the hemp rope needed.
dark side since all the troops were freely given cigerettes I wonder if they might have spiked them
to get the troups a bit more less fearful in combat??? they did some dark stuff my father told that we did not play by the rules……..

sorry I aint into drugs, never even tried a cigeratt, nor drank my first beer, so not my battle
I do hear from both sides. and each have points, but there is a lot of mis information.
not that what you say is wrong, hope the world can see someday that no chemical buzz

I have never used the stuff, still It seems foolish to put people in cages for using it
when experts say it is no worse than hard booze. When hard laws are passed against
any product, the old timers say follow the money, Who makes money from it being illegal
well lawyers do defending the accused. Prison make money, and cops get much bigger budgets
to fight drugs. If I was president I would change that.

My father under patton in Africa, then Sicily and Italy, spoke of the Army aways passing out
and pushing smokes for the men, he wondered if maybe a little weed was in those smokes.
Dad said he saw a lot of good men die. his quote that still stands the test of time,

your speaking with a guy who knows nothing of pot, but what grows here, the cops watch the river for growing weed in the fall like sharks in bloody water.
reminds me of local witches wanting river grown sage, says it has more power to ward off evil curses, I grow a second garden on the river, and give said witches my extras, and they consider me a friend, I have been checked by G men, once they see my herb gardens, they laugh at my efforts to be self reliant.
