Your best bet is basic business courses. And, you don’t need biology for plants, you need botany. But, you don’t really need to know how to grow — that’s what the growers are for.
When it comes to running a dispensary, you need to know two things. One is how to run a business, and the other is your stock. The only way you can learn about your stock is by taking medical marijuana growing courses AND working with experts in the field. You don’t need to know how many days of veg and how many days of flowering and what combo of what nutes make your Purple Haze grow, you just need to know what Purple Haze DOES. Learning about what strains of medical marijuana are suited for what ailments/needs is something that is not currently being taught in mainstream college courses. You need to apprentice at a dispensary and take some growing courses. Outside of that, you need general business, which would include basic accounting, basic legal, etc. No need for biology. No need to be dissecting kittens just to learn when is the best time to harvest a crop.
