I heard that they were planning on producing, distributing and taxing marijuana. I also heard about other states to follow. Sounds cool.
Does anybody know anything about the legality or plans to make legal in Ontario, Canada.

so far i believe california and new york are the only two states that have it in legislative. hopefully though we wont have to wait for other states and obama will legalize it for the whole country
We’re trying… Not a for sure thing, yet though. The problem is that many politicians are afraid of backing, what they call consider a “controversial issue.” Stay tuned…
I’m pretty sure it’s already legal in California, New Mexico, Maine, and ten or so other states. http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=4516 But only under state law, and only for medical reasons. Legally running (according to state law) marijuana dispensaries can and have still been raided by the federal DEA, as they are still in breach of federal law. Watch the movie “Super High Me”.
