About Proposition 19?
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed SB 1449 on October 1, 2010. Effective January 1, 2011, SB 1449 turns the possession of less than an ounce of marijuana from a criminal misdemeanor into an civil infraction. Even if the proposition passes, will we still have to pay the $100 fine for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana?

Even if it passes, Californians better hope that local law enforcements bust them and not the Feds. They will then have to be tried in Federal Courts and do Federal time. Be careful what you ask for.
When the Mayor of Sacramento has to go on YA to learn about the laws being proposed in his own town, you know California’s in trouble.
Hey I support Proposition 19 Regulate, Legalize, and Tax Cannabis Act 2010 California Why should we legalize marijuana?
Well, I could sit here for hours giving you great reasons to vote yes on 19 or plain and simple vote to legalize marijuana.
If we legalize marijuana we as in the state /county Will take the profit that our local street gangs an living off of just selling marijuana and they are living rich and wealthy in some cases. What do street gangs buy with the money the make from selling marijuana? Drugs… Guns… ,beer, they pay their bills.
Note to everyone Voting NO on Prop 19.
Street gangs, Marijuana growers/sellers and more than likely the Drug Cartles are putting. A whole of money into The NO on Prop 19 campaign so they don’t lose their Jobs and Funding. Don’t be a Fool and support these Illegal marijuana Grow ops and street gangs and so on… by criminalization of marijuana you are supplying crimals jobs tax free.
If prop 19 passes, there will be no fine. If prop 19 doesn’t pass, then you’ll have a $100 infraction (Same as traffic ticket).
The feds are the only problem, but the average user shouldn’t have to worry about that. Feds are usually interested in annoying dispensories.
Eric Holder said that he would “Vigorously enforce” federal laws if prop 19 passes, but he is all bark and no bite. I’d be surprised if he still worked for Obama after 2010.
