Can any licensed medical doctor in a state that allows ‘medical marajuna’ prescribe it and if not, who can?
I live in Michigan and know someone that has a medical reason (terminal cancer) that would allow them to get medicinal marijuana. Can they just ask their doctor (the one treating them for cancer) or are there only certain doctors that can prescribe it? If it is prescribed, then where do they get it? I assume that most pharmacies do not carry joints, lol. I’ve heard of MARINOL which is a pill but what if they wanted to smoke it? I’m confused. I voted “YES” for this law a year ago and it passed.
yes, doctors can prescribe patients anything that is not illegal that has a use under current guidelines.
Any doctor can prescribe it, but you should look for a doctor that has prescribed it for others.
Check out this website, can steer you to the right doctor.
