Are there any medical marijuana dispensaries that allow minors with their recommendations? I am 16?
I live in orange county and i have my medical marijuana recommendation, but a lot of dispensaries won’t allow me in without my mom. Does anybody know of some dispensaries that would allow me to go in by myself? I’m willing to drive to LA, LB, and SD counties, and also the inland empire. Thanks!

As far as I know, there aren’t any – and that goes for all prescriptions like that; Ritalin is considered a “controlled substance” (it’s a stimulant), so my son could never get his own before he was 18. I’m sorry, but if your mom doesn’t want you to have it, you may just be out of luck for a couple of years.
It is perfectly legal for a minor to get medical marijuana, you will be treated like any other patient. The only catch is you must bring a parent/legal guardian to approve of your using cannabis as a medicine.
