Usually by default racquets should come unstrung now, either if you pre order them or if you buy them straight from the place. That’s because the quality of the strings suck, so the sellers actually realized they might as well not bother, wasting time and money to put bad quality strings on any racquet.

Regarding shipment… they definitely come unstrung. That’s because you don’t want to risk anything happening to the strings during the shipments (you know… doesn’t look good if you present yourself with faulty and maybe even torn strings…) and pretty much for the same reason any store doesn’t string racquets any more. However some sites can offer a choice. Not many… I can’t list any off the top of my head right now, but you always hit a site that gives you the chance to let them know whether or not you want them strung or unstrung.

btw… you can still send an email to the head of whatever warehouse you’re ordering the racquets from… just give them the pre order code and let them know, you’d like them strung with whatever strings you use.

I would assume it’s unstrung. Pre-strung racquets are typically strung at the factory. And as this is one of Head’s newest player’s frames, they don’t string them at the factory.

So the only way it would be pre-strung would be if the store did it themselves. But that would just be a waste of money, since the people usually buying player’s racquets like this one are more particular about what string they use.

The only frames that come pre-strung are usually the cheaper lines made for more recreational use, and sometimes older clearance models.
