I recently got my medicinal marijuana card, and I’m wanting to grow it in my backyard with seeds that I have. But I’m not sure if it’s difficult. Is it basically like taking care of any normal plant?

Marijuana grows like a weed! Real easy to take care of once they are established. Just don’t let the little sprouts dry out. Plant in really good potting soil or mix in peat moss, and fertilize regularly. Plants in the ground won’t dry out as much, but mature plants will produce resin to stop from drying out, so growwing in 5 gallon buckets with holes in the bottom is best. Then you can move them if you need to. When they are a few months old cut down on root watering gradually, and start to mist (foliar feed) with ‘Miracle grow’ solution. Eventually that’s all you will need to do 1-2 times a week, and this will give you the best potency.
Bugs, deer, rabbits will want to feast on it, so better to have a fenced yard or grow in a fenced area. When 3 month old plants get less than 10 hours of light/day they start to bud.
