A physician licensed to practice in California must certify that you have a serious medical condition and that the medical use of marijuana is appropriate.
You have to be a resident in the county where you apply.
Complete the application and pay the fee.
Here’s the list of acceptable serious medical conditions according to California law:
acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS); anorexia; arthritis; cachexia (wasting syndrome); cancer; chronic pain; glaucoma; migraine; persistent muscle spasms (i.e., spasms associated with multiple sclerosis); seizures (i.e., epileptic seizures); severe nausea; any other chronic or persistent medical condition that limits the ability of the patient to conduct one or more major life activities as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, or if not alleviated, may cause serious harm to the patient’s safety, physical, or mental health.
You have to find a crooked enough doctor to write you a perscription for it first, the doctor should be able to give you a list of locations to pick up the dope. i belive the consent to carry license is about $169.99. Prices are street price, and even more for baked goods and such as far as the weed goes
It’s easy if you are a California resident (with a California ID) and are over 18, you can go to a medical marijuana evaluation at a participating physician and tell them of health problems you suffer from (insomnia, anorexia, joint pains, etc) and get a prescription. With the prescription you can go to one of the numerous dispensaries and buy marijuana. The card is a voluntary program that streamlines the process and allows you to use the marijuana vending machines in addition to using the regular dispensaries.

Medical cannabis is just about a safer alternative to anything. You could seriously bring a Tylenol bottle with you and tell them that you would rather use medical cannabis to help with you migraines instead of over the counter pills. The reason, Simply because its a safer alternative for you.
