It may increase tax revenue.
It will decrease court and incarceration cost (which are bankrupting California).
Fewer families will have to hire expensive lawyers.
Peace officers and public defenders will spend fewer resources and time on marijuana issues.
Hopefully fewer illegal guns will flow into Mexico (our guns increase the violence there).
Hopefully fewer illegal drugs will flow into the U.S. from Mexico, South America, and countries that support terrorism.
