Prop 19 would have legalized various marijuana-related activities, allowed local governments to regulate these activities, permitted local governments to impose and collect cannabis-related fees and taxes, and authorized various criminal and civil penalties.
Thank God it failed.
I’m a conservative and i supported prop 19, but idiots outnumbered the people with brains. Now that California had the Chance for a ballot, they just created themselves a bigger deficit.

Prop 420 was the bill that allowed people access to medical marijuana with a doctors recommendation. Prop 19 was a bill that would have allowed for anyone 21 years old and to posses something like 3 ounces and grow within 25 square feet (which would probably be about 10 plants)
