i recently was searched and they found a header from a bong that contained weed residue but they still haven’t tested it. There was nothing else found in the car and i wasn’t charged with anything but drug paraphernalia. What should i do i kind of wan to fight it.

best thing to do when you have ANY contact with law enforcement is to keep your mouth shut until you have an attorney, even if they say your not in trouble or under arrest. Plain and simple, never utter a single word to a cop unless it is “i dont feel comfortable speaking to you without an attorney”
The strength of your case depends on why you were searched. If you can convince the court the search was illegal, the evidence will be suppressed under the exclusionary rule (Weeks v. United States and Mapp v. Ohio).
If the search is valid, and the residue tests positive you will have a difficult time defending yourself. You may want to consider requesting a diversion program to keep it off your record.
I wish i had more uplifting advice but the truth is your probably best off paying the fine on this one.If you did fight might end up costing you more.especially if you have to miss work to show up at court gas money etc. and then still lose the case ouch!!!I feel for you. hopefully they send you something that says the charges are dropped due to there pitiful evidence or something similiar to that it has happened to my freind before.
