so i just got my pharmacy technician license its been kind of hard looking for a job anybody know a good site to find jobs around west la/ santa monica as a pharmacy tech or clerk ?? and also to work at a marijuana shop can you work there with a tech license hoe does that work ? or a vet pharmacy or is that a different type of license please help !!!

Most pharmacies don’t advertise when they are hiring, so just apply/send your resume to every facility that you would like to work in.
P+P is right, make sure you check online sites for all hospitals and retail pharmacies. Also check out long-term care pharmacies (you can find out about these by calling a nursing home and asking what pharmacy they use). I also recommend volunteering somewhere to get more experience. As a pharmacy manager, if a technician tells me they want to volunteer for 80 or 120 hours to get more experience, I almost always say yes. When you do this, do not let the staff at the pharmacy drag yo into lazy work practices. Show them you are a hard worker and will do a good job, and chances are they will hire you when there next opening comes. Best of luck,

Got a license? Then ask the school for potential job opportunities. Medical marijuana has nothing to do with a pharmacy tech or credentials. There is NO veterinary pharmacy – just the Vet’s office.
Read up on the license acquired and look for a job at a chain pharmacy.
Ohhh – boy and watch out world!
