Houston Rapper Tow Down Busted For $4 Million Dollar Weed Growing Operation + Cocaine
A Houston rapper and his brother were caught with more than $4 million worth of marijuana late Thursday, according to investigators with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Bernard Theriot, 36, was busted at his home in the 4500 block of Creek Point Lane in Missouri City. Bryan Theriot, also known as Tow Down, was arrested at his home in the 3400 block of Chambers Circle. Undercover officers with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office raided Bernard Theriot’s home and said they found 850 plants weighing about 5000 pounds. “Water pumps, timers, artificial lighting equipment. The entire second story of the house had been professionally constructed by plumbers and electricians,” said Rodney Glendening with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. The pot plants were being grown on the second story of the house which was “specially designed to manufacture the marijuana,” according to investigators. Bernard and Bryan Theriot are being held without bond on charges of possession and delivery of marijuana. Bryan Theriot is also charged with possession of cocaine and hydrocodone. Tow Down and his brother were arrested in 2008 for allegedly growing pot inside a home in Sienna Plantation. “There’s no fear and there’s no respect,” said Glendening. That time, the pot was at Bryan’s house. “He had an elaborate large-scale operation in his house. @2204Alpha, your definetly not a grower for sure. 2 pounds a plant is completely bullshit for indoor grows, try 2ozs up to 5 if your conditions are optimal ie ( ph, lighting , nutients and growing technique such as lst, sog or scrog and so on). @jiberish001 Actually the best hydro indoor grows can produce 2 pounds per cycle or more PER PLANT. Growing in soil is old school, slow, and not near as profitable at a hydroponic grow.

There might have been a hydroponioc operation going on, but the video CLEARLYshows pot grown in approx.3 gal pots of soil. If he’s such a great friend, why would you go on to try and inflate the value of the pot? That’s as charitable as the law enforcement pricks who tear down said operations. Also, a typical indoor yield, under good conditions, is usually not more than 2oz. per plant. $800 x 5000= $4M.

He said over 850 plants. 5000 pounds divided by 850 equals 5.8 pounds per plant. They weighed them all soaking wet while still in their pots. The average sized indoor grown plant can yield anywhere from 2 – 5 ounces when dried (which is how it’s sold). Even at 5 ounces per plant (which is being very generous (they don’t look that big) if sold at $300 an ounce it would be worth $1,275,000. In order to get 4.2m they would have to sell each ounce for $988, which is insane.
