Research the laws in your area, check out city hall, find a lawyer and get incorporated.
You have to be a non-profit in order to run a dispensary legally in CA.
There’s a couple schools that will give you some good stuff on what you need to do (like MCC Directory in Pasadena)
You should really go to a lawyer and have them file your non-profit for you and get all your documents together, that way you KNOW it’s being done right and completely legally and you’re not going to miss something and totally screw up.
I went to a lawyer named Stewart Richlin who has done like, 200 dispensaries in CA and he was awesome. He’s super laid back and knows his stuff and can file pretty much everything you need to get set up as a non-profit (you still have to get licenses and permits and stuff for whatever city you’re in).
Stewart also runs this free talk show on his website every Thurs at 830pm where he talks about laws and opening up dispensaries and stuff and you can call in and ask questions and then he puts all the old shows on his website so you can download everything for free.

Basically, make sure you research, research, research and you get educated on every step you need before you open anything to keep you out of jail and open and helping patients!
