The problem with drug prohibition is, that it always results in a gross violation of human rights. Prohibitionists might argue, that they saved someones life when in fact they didn’t. If you have a single entry in criminal record, your life is destroyed anyway since you will be stripped of certain rights. Additionally, you will have a hard time finding a job. So, even if prosecution makes you stop taking drugs, your situation will stay the same ot turn worse.
