11-26282 Grow House
Deputies with the Pasco Sheriff’s Office discovered a grow house and started dismantling the operation around 3 pm today. The grow house is located in a shed behind a residence located on County Line Road, Spring Hill. At least fifty large size marijuana plants were taken out of the shed which had two separate grow rooms filled with marijuana plants. The shed also featured very sophisticated electrical work used to bypass the electrical meters. Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies discovered the operation after they received a call this morning of a verbal argument and a man was carrying a machete. Once deputies arrived they did not find a man with a machete but talked to a renter at the residence. Deputies smelled marijuana and also found some marijuana leaves on the ground. Once a search warrant was obtained, deputies found the grow house operation. Deputies arrested the renter who was home at the time. He is identified as Ramon Alejandro Roque-Ray, DOB 8/5/92 with cultivation of marijuana, theft of utilities and trafficking. Sheriff Chris Nocco talks about the outstanding efforts of the deputies in finding the grow house. The street value of the marijuana found inside the shed is estimated by PSO Vice-Narcotics at $50000.
